Our client a care organisation are looking to recruit a Team Leader for a temp to perm position working within a children's residential project base in Uxbridge.
You will work effectively and efficiently within a residential setting catering for young people who display challenging behaviours. As a Team Leader you will provide advice, assistance and support to young people. Attend to their
practical, physical and emotional needs. You will act as an appropriate role model working closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
Take responsibility for the effective and efficient running of shifts Work within, and ensure effective delivery of the policies and procedures in the home, and the company. Monitor and maintain administrative requirements, ensuring that the outcome meets the standards set out in the children's legislation, and the homes working practices Ensure ongoing assessment of the children and young people's needs in a day to day practice.
NVQ Level 3 – Children and Young People or equivalent.
Working with children and young people.
Understanding of appropriate legislature e.g. Children’s Act, Every Child Matters, etc.
