Children's Residential Support Worker (Adolescents, EBD)

March, Cambridgeshire

£13,340 - £16,340 + sleep-in allowance (£2,000-£3,000 pa)

Our client is looking for a Children's Residential Support Worker to work within a residential home based near March, Cambridgeshire, supporting 11-18 year olds with emotional, behavioural disorders. The young people display challenging behaviour and attachment disorders.

This role will be supporting and educating children who have a range of complex needs, the organisation operate a education facility and residential setting. You will be responsible for providing a dynamic outcome based service, committed to the promotion of the rights and well-being of young people.

You will be working within both the residential and school settings, this role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in relation to the children's physical, behavioural and emotional needs. You will be supporting the children within the classroom setting, supporting them at home and also being involved in outdoor activities, this is a demanding but rewarding position.

With a true desire to influence the lives of young people, experience is desirable but not essential as full training and qualifications are provided.

The position is working for a large private provider that will offer training, qualifications and progression within the company.
