Reed Social Care has been commissioned to recruit a Deputy Manager by a registered charity that supports people with learning disabilities in residential homes, day services and that also supports people to live independently in the community.
Job Description
The purpose of the role is to support the Manager and responsibilities for the overall operation and day-to-day management of residential units on site, fulfil the duties and legal responsibilities as determined by the Care Standards Act 2000 and the relevant regulations and guidelines issued, assist with the appointment, supervision, appraisal and training of staff, ensure that the home operates within agreed budgets, be responsible for health and safety matters within the home & ensure that all those who chose to live in the service do so in a safe and secure environment and that the residential services are maintained to the highest standards.
