Research Study Scientist (FMCG)

Study Scientist required to support research projects at leading petcare research facility based in the East Midlands

The Role
Working alongside the principal investigator the main focus of this role is to facilitate the needs of the research programmes through translating research plans into research practice, results and reports, as well as setting up research studies with cats and dogs, being the key link between the animal units and the research team. You will be responsible for the timely procurement and sourcing of any diets to be used in trials, as well as any materials or supplements. This will involve working with pilot plants, factories, as well as internal and external contacts and suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications
Ideally you will have a Degree (or equivalent) in Biological Science (or Biotechnology/Food Technology/Animal Science or related science discipline) Proven experience of project work, or of running research studies will be a distinct advantage.
