We are currently recruiting for a Rents Operations Manager on a temporary basis to work for a large Housing Association in Rugby, Warwickshire.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver an effective specialised income collection service, which maximises income collection, whilst striving to achieve and maintain top quartile performance.

Your main duties will be:

- To deliver an effective, customer driven income collection service and provide effective staff management to the team, deputising for the Head of Income Management where necessary

- To ensure that the service is adaptable to meet the needs of all client groups, especially those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable•

- To build effective relationships with key stakeholders, supporting wider initiatives such as the homelessness and financial inclusion agendas and explore new business and funding opportunities•

- Develop and commission policy and procedures as requested by the Head of Income Management •

- To keep abreast of best practice, statutory and regulatory requirements ensuring implementation of continuous improvement services to residents, maintaining a working knowledge of wider housing management issues and contributing to national debate and strategy

• To interpret detailed analysis of arrears, including hot spotting and customer profiling to target resources appropriately and produce qualitative, concise reports, business cases and presentations•

- To take a lead role for specific organisation-wide initiatives, projects and business responsibilities as required and formulate robust budget proposals

We are looking for candidates that have experience of staff management, experience of managing budgets and monitoring financial performance. You will also need a working knowledge of housing management and regulatory requirements including the appropriate grounds for possession, in accordance with the Housing Act 1996, for varied tenancy types.
