. Main Purpose of the Position
To provide a high quality rental service to meet customer requirements and sell the Companys services and products to achieve targets.
2. Sales Targets and Requirements
2.1 To sell the Companys products and services to all potential and existing customers to achieve and exceed agreed personal and station targets.
2.2 To be commercially aware and recognise and report on prospective business opportunities and competitor activity.
3. Customer Service Requirements
3.1 To provide a high level of Customer Service in all customer contact situations, recognising our Companys Customer Service standards and your empowerment to deliver total customer satisfaction.
3.2 Upon request, to advise the customer of the vehicle CO2 emissions value and make every effort to meet the customers requirements where a vehicle with a lower CO2 emission value is requested.
3.3 To deliver and collect vehicles to customers specified requirements and inform customers of all relevant information regarding vehicle handover and termination.
4. Main Tasks and Responsibilities
4.1 Handle all telephone enquires in a polite and helpful manner, adhering to the Companys telephone technique.
4.2 Carry out instructions / procedures on the Station Network System as requested by Manager / Supervisor.
4.3 To accurately complete all rental administration and vehicle documentation, including the identification and reporting of damage, according to the companys Operating Procedures.
4.4 Responsible for security of vehicles, cash, premises and customer safety.
4.5 To identify and communicate to the Station Manager any new / additional aspects within the workplace which might have a significant impact upon the environment.
4.6 To drive company vehicles with care and adhere to the company Driving Standards Policy.
4.7 As per instructions from management, deposit company monies at the bank.
4.8 Any other reasonable duty as requested by Manager / Supervisor.
5. Authority
5.1 No authority to use a Company vehicle without prior management approval.
5.2 Full authority not to rent to an unqualified customer.
5.3 Authority to issue refunds in accordance with Operating Procedures and management guidelines.
5.4 No authority to turn down a booking requirement without prior consent from management.
