As a Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Officer, you’ll be part of an elite team and a member of the only all-professional engineering Corps in the Army. Your role will involve leading and inspiring some of our most exceptional soldiers to give their best in the most challenging and difficult conditions in the world. You’ll achieve this by using your initiative to make decisions and by thinking on your feet.
To be eligible for a commission you should be physically fit, aged 17 to 29 and either a British or Commonwealth citizen, citizen of Ireland or born in a country previously part of the UK. You will also need an engineering or technical degree.
