My client is now looking to recruit a Registered Home Manager to manage their medium size home based in the Cambridgeshire area.

The role will be to:-

  • To be responsible for the health and social care needs of all service users within the establishment.
  • To be responsible for the effective management of the facilities services within the establishment.
  • To maintain maximum occupancy levels, with the appropriate fee structures, in accordance to company policy.
  • To adhere to all statuary requirements and good practices as indicated by the Department of Health Guidelines
  • To adhere to, and put into practice, all company policies and procedures, as and when appropriate.
  • To effectively manage all complaints and representations.
  • To implement disciplinary procedures as necessary.
  • To maintain all relevant documentation, confidentiality and securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
  • To liaise and communicate with other Health and Social Care Professionals within the multi-disciplinary forum.
  • To effectively manage and work within the care homes budget.
  • To monitor and maintain effective stock control and rotation.
  • To effectively manage one’s own workload, prioritise tasks and maintain professional development.
  • To take 24 hour responsibility for the Care Home , and to delegate responsibility during periods of absence.
  • To perform any other reasonable duties as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • NVQ Level IV in Management (essential)

RELEVENT EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in Elderly care is essential
  • Budgetary control and marketing skills (essential)
  • 3 Years Home Management of particular Service User group (essential)

Quality Management Systems implementation (essential)
