Registered Care Manager - Level 1

Salary: £24,617 - £26,092
38 hours per week
You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning, staff management /development and budget management. In order to support our clients commitment to high quality, accountable services, you will need to be aware of the expectations of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and to develop an understanding of Senses’ Quality Assurance system.
You will ideally hold NVQ4 or equivalent, or be working towards an accredited award. You will need to have had proven experience of supervising in a service for people who have additional support needs to lead more independent lives.
Part of our client Sense’s training package will give you the tools to understand the specific needs of deafblind people, so experience in this field is not essential. You will need to bring a positive and innovative approach to providing support and a commitment to developing a motivated and focused staff team. As an RCM, you will be part of a team of peers who meet regularly in a supportive environment. You will be working in partnership with another RCM who is registered at the address. The main focus of your role will be within Flat 2, although a working knowledge will be needed of both flats.
It is desirable that you hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
