Regional Support Manager

In this role you will be responsible for supporting 15 to 25 Tesco Travel Money bureaux located in Tesco supermarkets within our Scotland / Northern Ireland and North East England Region.

A Company car, laptop, mobile phone are provided and Business expenses paid.

A fair amount of overnight stays will be required
This role reports to the Regional Manager.

The role requires flexibility around hours of work as the stores operate 7 days a week.

Duties include:
Driving Sales Performance - To continually drive sales performance in order to achieve key Regional sales and financial targets.
Training - To execute effective sales, product, customer service, operational and compliance training (121 / team sessions) across Regional bureaux network for all new and existing staff.
Service Quality - To ensure all bureaux are open and sufficiently resourced during agreed trading hours and to build a customer focused sales operation where all customers are treated fairly and customer service excellence is achieved at all times.
Risk & Compliance - To ensure all bureaux and staff undertake and fully comply with all company, regulatory, security and compliance requirements and are adhering to company best practice guidelines at all times.
Business & Regional Support - To support the Regional Manager, division and company in order to achieve company goals and objectives
People & Relationship Management - To effectively support and develop all staff in the achievement of both personal and business objectives, and to foster both internal and external working relationships

Knowledge and Skills

•Leading and managing a team
•3 years experience of working within a customer service or sales environment
•Demonstrate good numerical ability or have cash handling experience.
•Basic IT knowledge
•Experience of running a Foreign Exchange bureau/or similar
•Previous training or coaching experience
