Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 basic pro rata + commision
Our client, a global organisation with offices in Central London, are seeking a professional, financially astute and enthusiastic individual with sales experience and marketing exposure to complete an 8 month Fixed Term contract.
Main Purpose of Job:
- Responsible for sales and marketing activity to an identified list of accounts in the EMEA region, maximizing up sell and for prospecting new customers as well as retaining current customers spend.
- Primary objective is to work towards exceeding annual sales goals as agreed with Regional Sales Manager.
- The Sales Associate will be the representative of the products and services to prospective and existing clients through cold and warm calling, direct mail, email and WebEx.
Sales Responsibility :
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by selling research products.
- Focuses on prospecting for new business and cementing existing business through lead generation
- Develops and implements targeted Marketing initiatives to ensure deliverable and profitable growth of client revenue.
- Makes outbound cold and warm calls to potential customers. Uses telephone and e-mail to qualify leads.
- Conducts phone and email follow to qualify, sell remotely or pass on the leads generated leads in CRM to Account Managers.
- Achieves inside sales activity objectives including dials, successful calls, lead generation and close ratios.
- Full sales responsibility for an identified group of customers in EMEA region.
- Proactively manage end-to-end business development process including sales pipeline management.
- Well-versed in 'total solution selling' regularly demonstrates ability to sell on value. Moves the conversation away from price.
- Gathers and logs all call information and profile activity in CRM system.
Day to Day
- Focuses on lead generation, cold-calling and making appointments to create new business.
- Maintain a working knowledge of company services, special sales programs and marketing efforts
- Works with Regional Sales Manager to optimize selling opportunities and maximize revenue potential.
Skills/Experience:
- Previous direct sales experience with proven sales success - Minimum 2 years experience.
- The ability to effectively identify, negotiate, generate and defend sales revenue.

Language skills:
- An additional European language highly desirable
