Regional Credit Risk Manager

Our Client requires an Experienced Leader to establish, manage and administer Risk Office Teams across the North West Region.

As Regional Credit Risk Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing the operations of a number of Risk Offices and a number of remote Risk Analysts. As a People Manager you will develop and up skill your direct reports through appraisals, coaching and mentoring to improve the overall quality of risk monitoring.

Your aim will be to enhance the risk underwriting and monitoring capabilities in line with the Quality Standards and to identify and report upon adverse risk exposures to minimise claims from foreseeable failures.

You will need to develop an effective strategy to establish and grow a network of valuable banking and other professional contacts in order to promote the profile of the Business and improve its information gathering capabilities and be innovative with new ideas to ensure best practice is established throughout the Risk Offices.

To succeed in this role you must hold the following qualifications, knowledge and experience;

• Degree or equivalent and/or equivalent industry knowledge
• Excellent credit risk analysis and report writing skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent people management skills
• Full clean driving licence
• Commercially aware and fully conversant with MS Office applications
• Can demonstrate excellent credit risk assessment skills
