An opportunity has arisen to join a successful national care organisation going through a period of significant growth and business change.

As the organisation continues to roll out this exciting expansion my client is looking for a Regional Care Manager to build new business opportunities and to manage and support care managers.

This is a highly focussed and hands on role and has particular accountability for the implementation of business development, identifying and developing new and existing relationships alongside providing excellent customer service and consistent high quality care.

Reporting to the national live-in director you will manage the South East & East Anglia region, lead and manage a motivated team and support their carer development.

The regional manager will need to be familiar with the standard required by the CQC and will be required to become a registered manager, this will entail being submitted for a current RMA award. They will also have the knowledge and experience of working within the care or charity sector, have strong ethical standards and a successful track record of business management.

Mutli site operational management would be beneficial.

Key account abilities:

Manage and grow existing clients.

Identify new business.

Improve profitability for the region and achieve business targets.

Manage budgets and KPI's.

Deliver excellent customer service.

Manager day to day people issues.

Be primary point of contact for all care managers.

Implement best practice for people and procedures.

Provide training and development for all staff.

Provide regional reports and KPI's and business performance.

Deliver regular regional team meetings.

The ideal Regional Care Manager will be ambitious and self motivated, an excellent communicator, an inspirational leader and have ability to make a difference commercially and with their people. They will also be very hands on, empathetic, caring and be willing to get involved with all aspects of the care business.

The role involves extensive travel over a region, around 3-4 days per week and overnight stays maybe required from time to time.
