Do you have a recent background with an Engineering Recruitment Agency either as a Recruiter or Resourcer?

Responsibilities:

  • Updating the CV Tracker
  • Reviewing CVs and forwarding them to the relevant Recruiter
  • Replying and providing feedback to applicants
  • Replying and providing feedback to Recruitment Agencies
  • Arranging interviews with applicants, agencies and Line Managers
  • Updating the Agency Agreement spreadsheet
  • Agency Agreements - sending and chasing
  • Vendor Declarations - sending and chasing
  • References for prospective employees - sending and chasing
  • Greenfields documentation - sending and chasing
  • Work Orders - amending and sending to Agencies
  • Searching CV databases
  • Interviewing all candidates at all levels
  • Assisting the Line Manager with the decision process
  • Producing new starter paperwork in line with Corporate and UK/EU Compliance
  • Discussing requirements with Line Managers
  • Updating the Requisition Folder
  • Assisting with Competitor Rate Reviews
  • Sending weekly job list to the agencies
  • Chasing for start dates once the offer has been sent
  • Assisting with Recruitment Events
  • General administrative duties
  • Ordering of stationary and merchandise for Recruitment Events
  • Arranging courier for Recruitment Events

Person specification:

  • Recent previous background with an Engineering Recruitment Agency either as a Recruiter or Resourcer
  • Previous clients to have included Oil & Gas companies, having had experience of meeting with clients
  • Can demonstrate good interviewing skills and techniques both face-to-face and via telephone
  • Excellent administrative skills including database administration and contract administration.
  • Understanding of the local market including competitors, roles and rates
  • Candidates must have an interest in In-House Recruitment and understand the differences between an agency recruiter and an in-house recruiter
  • Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Previous Recruitment background  in another field such as Admin or Finance would be beneficial
