One of the UK’s most innovative recruitment company’s is offering a unique opportunity not normally associated with trainee recruitment positions. My client is a leading supplier of a wide range of recruitment solutions to some of the biggest brands in the world. Your role will involve all functions of the recruitment process. You will be tasked with developing relationships with key clients through strong communication skills both telephone based and via face to face meetings. You will also meet candidates, discuss their career goals and how you will be able to assist them in their next move. You will be expected to gain commitment from clients and candidates alike, and should be comfortable asking for business and closing deals. The role is challenging, involves business to business sales on a daily basis and isn't for the faint hearted. Uniquely, my client isn't necessarily looking for a background in recruitment for this role, they want to hire people with a demonstrable track record of success in their chosen field. You may have embarked on a graduate training scheme after university, or left school and went straight into sales. You may have worked through your studies in a part time role, or are someone who has enjoyed success in a different field; advertising, banking, field sales for example but like the opportunities recruitment can provide.
You are likely to be competitive, have achieved success in sport, the workplace or academically, and enjoy the trappings that this can bring. You should be confident in your ability to present to senior level decision makers and win business, but humble enough to recognise good manners can make as big an impression too.
Salary is negotiable on the individual and will range from £18000 to £25000 as a base. Commission and bonus is achievable on a monthly basis and year one earnings can be as high as £40000, with second and third year likely to lead beyond £60000 if you continue to be successful. Promotion and career path will be created around the individual, and opportunity to move into management, business development, account management and many more avenues are available.
