Raw Material Specification Technologist

My client is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of children’s and adult confectionery, and is a leading producer of novelty and own label products.

 With several manufacturing sites across the UK they have built up and enviable reputation for product innovation and have received numerous awards for own label products. They were the worlds first large scale 'nut free’ segregated factory and have a constant focus on innovation

Due to their continued growth and expansion plans they are now looking to recruit a Raw Material Technologist.

 You will be responsible for ensuring correct and detailed specifications are collated on Raw Materials and 3rd party suppliers in line with the project critical path. You will also upload them onto the Creations system highlighting special ingredients and ensuring they meet the pre set standards.

 Successful candidates will also be expected to provide technical support to the operations and technical teams, visit suppliers for training days and coordinate approval with the NPD teams

Ideal candidates will have a food related degree or diploma with relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment. You must also have a passion for food and experience of Food Safety & Quality Systems.
