R&D Tax Executive
Location: Oxford
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000
Our client is currently looking for an individual to have the responsibility for managing a portfolio of claims for R&D tax relief and tax credits involving undertaking technical assessment, liaison with HMRC, client management and management of a small team. The R&D Tax Executive will report into the specialist Tax partner.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the R&D tax portfolio is effectively controlled and monitored, and delegated where appropriate, ensuring that the processing of claims meets monthly deadlines and internal and external service delivery demands
Undertaking the technical assessment of claims and producing the technical summary, involving the review of accounting information
Developing new clients, attending new and existing client meetings, building up effective working relationships with clients, and advising on R&D aspects
Skills:
CTA / ATT
Able to demonstrate previous technical R&D tax experience and knowledge
Previous supervisory experience
Maths or Science Degree would be beneficial
