Quantity Surveyor - Midlands

An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has become available with a large rail contractor, based in the midlands.
The Quantity Surveyor will work as part of the commercial team to ensure provision of a professional Quantity Surveying service.
The principle accountabilities of the Quantity Surveyor will be:
1. Provide information to measure the financial and physical performance of projects against targets.
2. Ensure best utilisation of resources to maximise profitability of the project / contract.
3. Provide relevant information for preparation of reports/ claims to agreed timescales.
4. Assist in preparation of estimates for bids.
5. Prepare and submit change control and monitor using a tracker.
6. Preparation and submit where applicable applications for payment.
In order to apply for the role of Quantity Surveyor, you will be a Qualified Quantity Surveyor or similarly qualified construction professional, and will have demonstrable post qualification experience within the rail industry.
