Quality Process Technician

A fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing organisation with a Global presence!

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Process Technician to help improve the factory performance by running improvement projects in conjunction with the manufacturing function. Main responsibilities include:

• Supporting quality and process managers in improvement projects

• Writing up reports on project outcomes

• Use problem solving techniques to identify solutions to various process issues which lead to improved quality and processes.

• Writing of new procedures and ensure this is communicated throughout the business

• Assisting in updating and maintaining quality records to ensure full traceability within the ISO 9001 quality system.

• Support quality by assisting in the testing of finished products

• Collection and preparation of samples

• Conduct raw material testing to ensure compliance with agreed specifications

• Establishing best practices within department in terms of improving testing, methodology and housekeeping.

To be successful, candidates must be educated to Degree level in a Technical or Science subject, have previous experience of working in a process environment, have experience of running improvement projects and have a good understanding of analytical techniques (XRD) along with experience of in physical testing and general measuring techniques.
