Quality Inspectors

Our Client based in Newbury are seeking Quality Control Inspectors with previous experience in the Wiring and Cable industry for their busy manufacturing facility to start immediately.

You will be Test Specifications & Quality Plans, product testing, loom testing, calibration and working to IS9000 quality standards

Knowledge and Experience:

1. HND/HNC level qualification in Electro-mechanical engineering or commensurate experience
2. Experience using Electrical test equipment and methods to measure manufacturing specification and reliability requirements. Understanding RF Theory, using a network analyser, programming and use of an environmental test chamber, programming and operation of vibration test equipment.
3. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
4. Knowledge of software required to use Automatic Test Equipment programs for testing slip rings
6. Knowledge of ISO 9000 regulations and in-house procedures.
7. Good analytical skills for investigation and problem solving.
8. Attention to detail and strong sense of structure and organisation to ensure 100% effectiveness of quality  procedures and testing
9. Effective communication skills for liaison with operators and presentation of quality analysis
10. Standard PC skills to facilitate report writing, presentation and analysis. (Word, Powerpoint Excel).
