Quality Controller - Vegetables

Mack Multiples is part of the Fresca Group, the largest privately owned supplier of fresh produce to the UK servicing the entire range of multiple retailers. We source our goods from over 60 countries worldwide and our sophisticated UK packing and distribution facilities enable us to consistently meet the challenging needs of our prestigious customer base, seven days a week.
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic individual to enhance our Technical Team as a Quality Controller based at our vegetable site in Evesham. This team is responsible for evaluating the product at inloading, throughout packing production and outloading.
An eye for detail is essential to accurately identify quality issues and make assessments of the fresh produce.
A flexible approach to work is required as this position will work across 7 days of the week and to tight deadlines.
Customer specifications need to be met and communicated fully to production staff. Any differences in specification will need to be evaluated and reported to the commercial team.
Key skills
Although this role does not require any formal qualifications you will need to be numerate, literate and a basic understanding of spreadsheets and scanners would be an advantage.
Shift Pattern
42.5 hours per week including weekend working on a rota basis.

- Excellent communicator with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a Quality Control environment with knowledge of fresh produce would be an advantage.
