Hours of Work:Flexible to suit the needs of the business (which is a treble-shift operation)
Role Purpose: To ensure the effective management of the Quality Assurance teams and Quality Assurance processes at this Food Manufacturing organisation
Activities:
Maintaining the Quality Management Systems, including HACCP and internal audits
Investigating and responding to customer complaints
Process auditing and managing non-conformances
Maintaining specifications:
raw materials
products
customers
Supervising the Quality Assurance and Hygiene teams
Implementing, and supporting the implementation of, continuous improvements
Technical data analysis and reporting
Non-conformances
Supplier performance
Problem solving
Assisting with the New Product Development process
Management of facilities (overall laundry services, waste management, pest control)

Skills:
Excellent spoken and written communication
Sound IT skills including knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office suite
High degree of attention to detail
Experience:
2-3 year's Quality Assurance Management
Managing others
