Fashion retailer with global presence seek to appointment a strong Quality Assurance Manager/Head of Quality at their European HQ to lead and advise a strong quality assurance and technical teams - ensuring all Product Quality and Safety standards are up-to-date and adhered to. It will be within your remit to ensure standards are met on products delivered to Europe by the Global Sourcing Supply Base. In turn, this will achieve a notable improvement to customer quality, in-sync with overall brand strategy. At all times, you will act to ensure brand image is reliable and credible via product compliance with international law.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who can be adaptable across all product areas - men's, women's and kids, preferably with footwear knowledge as well as garments. You should have an in-depth knowledge of European safety requirements; chemical as well as mechanical with understanding of laboratory and testing industry.
This is a management level position within the organisation therefore it is vital that you have experience of leading and influencing a large team of Quality Safety and Quality Assurance and Sourcing professionals. You will lead the team to be hands on and operational while your own technical experience will be utilised to work closely with the Technical Director to define strategy, tactics and execution of the quality and safety piece within the wider organisation.
