Qualified Social Worker (Children Services)
4Social Work has an exciting Qualified Social Worker position that has become available within Children Services we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to work within a challenging yet rewarding role for our client based in East Midlands
The position will be initially for 1 Month, but is likely to be extended due to the nature of the work.
Duties May Include:
• To provide a full professional screening and Multifunctional assessment, review and care management service, in accordance with the Social Services Strategy and Policy on priorities. In doing so, to work within the resources of the needs, usually within a designated area. To enable people in the community to access appropriate services and maximise their own, or their family’s independence. To work with service users, families or groups in conjunction with partner agencies, to undertake preventative work using a variety of approaches.
• To review complex packages of care to ensure that services provided are proportionate and provide best value.
Please note that this is a qualified position so you will need a social work degree/masters or equivalent, be GSCC registered and have relevant experience for this role. Any applications received without meeting these minimum criteria will not be considered.
