Qualified Residential Care Worker

An exciting position has arisen with Horizon Care Ltd for Qualified Residential Child Care Worker to join an established team in a 3 bedded residential home in Salford, for children and young people aged 10 - 18 years, who have experienced neglect, abuse and poor emotional and physical care. As a result of this, their behaviour can be abusive, aggressive, controlling and self destructive.

• Must hold QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
• Robust, Resilient and Reliable characteristics.
• High motivation, with a good level of flexibility.
• The ability to cope with and remain calm in very challenging and demanding situations.
• Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with Social Workers, Clinicians, Police, Families, OFSTED and other professionals dealing with Looked After Children.
• A full UK Driving License is essential.
