Salary / rate:£18,000 - £20,000 per annum

I am seeking a Quality Controller to ensure our clients products are to customer specification and ensure that practices and procedures are being adhered to.

Duties include:
Monitor stock rotation on a daily basis.
Inspect incoming raw material loads.
Positive release finished product prior to dispatch.
Monitor the storage of produce to ensure that the correct temperature is maintained, monitor damages and stock rotation.
Actively track class ii grade outs and lost in re-pack i.e. waste-decay in the pack house.
Monitor and manage the Quality of the produce in storage.
Conduct Month-end reports and any other seasonal reports as and when requested.
Monitor and report shelf life tests.
Perform internal Quality checks as per specified frequency and report findings. 

The ideal candidate will have a previous track record in Quality Control, with stock control also being advantageous, within a Fresh Produce environment.

Working hours - 40 hour working week with 1 in 3 weekends
