The successful candidate will lead a team of 3 POD Administrators who collect and process the daily delivery discrepancies from their assigned hauliers and customer web sites. You will be responsible for recruiting your own team as part of Premier Food's move to create Rugby as the centre of excellence for supply chain planning, logistics and customer service. You will be responsible for managing the efficient process of releasing customer proof of deliveries (POD's) for invoicing on a daily basis and produce detailed analysis and interpretation of the POD variances to reduce the number of discrepancies. Producing periodic reports (weekly and monthly) to detail discrepancies by customer, haulier, warehouse and product, you and your team will investigate and resolve issues as they occur, and motivate and develop your team to be proactive and creative in the provision of world class customer service. The ability to conclude warehouse and customers POD's and issues is key, along with ensuring that post POD claims are actioned in accordance with set SLA's, working with the Accounts Receivable team. Passionate about delivering the highest level of accuracy whilst working under pressure and to deadlines, is key to the success of this role. You will be an effective communicator and be able to prioritise your own and your team's work-load with a natural ability to manage changing information and priorities. You will have demonstrable people management skills, including motivational, development, coaching and team building skills. Proficiency in the use of Word and Excel, strong attention to detail and above average analytical skills are essential.

Please note that basic training in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire and staying away from home in the week is a prerequisite. This could be for anything from 3 weeks to 2 months dependant upon when you join. Where appropriate, Premier will provide a hire car.
