We are looking for a Project QA Engineer with a degree or equivalent in Quality Management, Engineering or Materials and experience of all aspects of quality systems associated with heavy engineering projects
Working for a company that designs, builds and supplies engineering solutions for the offshore oil and gas, submarine telecom, defence and renewables industries you would need experience of heavy engineering projects throughout the project life cycle and will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.

The role will span across multiple projects and will be executed as part of the Supply Chain function of the business.

It will involve working closely with customers to define contract quality requirements and to ensure that the company and its supply chain meet these requirements.
The Project QA Engineer will be involved in the project over the project life cycle ensuring any customer or supplier issues are resolved and work across the organisation to help ensure that the delivery of projects are within specification, to budget and delivered on time.

The company’s equipment is manufactured worldwide and then, in many cases, assembled at their own workshops, where the electrical, control and hydraulic systems are assembled and tested.
Commissioning of the equipment is generally at their client’s location and in many cases onboard a vessel so this role will require close liaison with the project and production teams as well as the supply base.

The company deliver quality innovative engineered solutions to meet client's requirements in a variety of challenging markets. Their equipment spans across the engineering disciplines and incorporates mechanical structure, control and electrical systems many with hydraulic drive and actuation.
This is a dynamic company with projects ranging in scale and complexity all the way up to 1000’s tonnes of delivered equipment.
