This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience of working within the financial services sector to join a large, very well known organisation.
Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering all project deliverables, with a specific emphasis on IT systems development, to help ensure the successful overall delivery of the organizations current change programme. This will involve developing a delivery plan that will facilitate the delivery of system development to schedule and budget and ensuring that the project process is well documented and that there is an effective audit trail. They will also put together a work plan and identify and resolve risks, issues and exceptions to the required time and budget.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have had significant prior experience in either a project or programme manager role and will be Prince 2 certified. It is essential that they have experience of working within the financial services sector, ideally within the investment banking domain. They will have a proven record of successfully delivering IT systems development projects but must also have managed a broad variety of IT projects.
