Maternity Contract - starting May 2011

Project Manager based in Welwyn Garden City for a high profile marketing company.

The responsibilities will be to manage the launch of products.

The supply chain you will be required to project manage will be marketing and buyers in the UK and sourcing vendors in the Far East. To succeed you will need exceptional communication and project management skills.

The successful applicant will be involved with:

-Taking responsibility for the management of new, relaunch, amendment, and copy changes for products.
-Responsible for the co-ordination of pre-artwork meetings with design studios and our client.
-Production of weekly status and exception reports.
-Providing day to day technical and administrative support.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience of print and packaging ideal.
- Strong customer service background.
- Excellent telephone manner; excellent organisational skills; the ability to deal with personnel on all levels; the ability to work on your own initiative and be proactive; to prioritise workloads; to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
It is also vital that you are reliable and conscientious.

It would be desirable to have sound knowledge of Lotus Notes/Excel/Word/Powerpoint, together experience of being in a customer facing role. A design/print background would also be desirable but not essential.
