Project Manager - Afghanistan within Military Bases - Immediate

We are an international company that deals with construction projects across several countries. We have an up coming project for the installation of a large military housing scheme with associated interior finishing, electrical & mechanical works in Afghanistan.

Our main company headquarters are located at one of the most prestigious offices in Amman - Jordan.

Candidate required profile

Must have a minimum of 10 years recent construction project management experience, be degree qualified. Must have a broad knowledge of all fields of construction in both a practical and managerial scope. Able to clearly demonstrate experience in leading a successful project team. Must be used to administrating a contract and holding full responsibility for the success of a project. We are not seeking a construction manager or site manager, the PM will be familiar with contract requirements, planning, purchasing and reporting at the very highest level.

• Organizing Materials Procurement
• Personnel planning
• Sub contract procurement and management
• Negotiation with stakeholders
• Experience dealing with different cultures

All other aspects of projects implementation

The position is based out of a secure military base within Afghanistan.

Rotation 3 months on and 2 weeks off.

Initial contract period is one year.

Tax free salary is negotiable.
