A Project Engineer is required by a large manufacturing company in Thanet, to plan and implement technical projects on site. You will focus on new product programme management, optimising central services and increasing energy efficiency and automation.
Duties include:
• Planning and managing new project implementation from concept to sign off
• Taking responsibility for the operation and optimisation of site central services
• Developing expertise in machinery and tooling
• Justifying capital investment to improve efficiency
• Developing state of the art automation systems, using CAD
• Managing energy reduction
• Facilitating technical improvements to reduce product costs
• Supporting the maintenance and tool room teams
• Developing strategies for assembly and packaging optimisation
• Developing customer solutions
It is essential have experience within a similar role, and ideally a relevant qualification.
