Hays Banking are currently recruiting for a Project Administrator to work for a large health authority agency based near Salisbury. Our client exists to help protect the health of everyone in the United Kingdom and they comprise of approximately 4,000 staff based regionally throughout England Wales and Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Project Manager in providing central support and administrative control for our clients Finance Infrastructure Programme. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating events, managing project templates and ensuring that all paperwork and correspondence is kept in a logical manner. Microsoft Projects expertise in managing and coordinating returns will form part of the tasks required as well as the following key tasks
- Prepare regular updates for key project reports including the Risk and Issues registers, Work Stream reports and any other reporting requirements for the project
- To arrange any necessary meetings and coordinate with the Senior Project Manager to ensure that all key deadlines are met or reported against
- To ensure that all budgets and costs are up to date on the project and alert the Senior Project Manager if there are any risks or over runs in connection with the work streams. This will include regular reconciliation of costs versus budget
- Implement the delivery, monitoring, administrative and general targets and tasks set by the Senior Project Manager and ensure overall effective day-to-day administration of all work streams included within the Finance Infrastructure to delivery
- Carry out other duties and functions as agreed with the Senior Project Manager
- Undertake all duties in compliance with the Agency’s Policies and Procedures, Standing Financial Instructions, other financial guidelines and guidelines for health, safety and quality standards

- Higher Degree level in a Business discipline
- Experience of working in Project Administration for large complex roles
- Able to handle conflict calmly and effectively
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Fluency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Numeracy Skills
- Willing to travel to other sites
