Project Accountant - London - 40-50k

One of the world's largest engineering companies is seeking a Project Accountant to work with their European project teams to manage the financial and management accounting for a number of high profile and lengthy projects within the business.

This highly visible role focuses on providing support to project teams and the operational teams within them from a financial perspective in providing them with effective financial reporting, planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities of the Project Accountant include:

• review and management of all AP, expenses and other transactions related to each project
• management of project costing through SAP
• maintenance of effective project budget control and cost control
• provision of reports back to project managers and budget holders
• management of all financial accounting relating to projects
• ad hoc tasks and projects

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant experience in a Project orientated environment. Previous experience in engineering or similar industries would be beneficial.
