An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within a leading, global management, engineering and development consultancy.
The role specialises in the health and education sectors, working in low & middle-income countries. In collaboration with international agencies & national governments, to advance and improve health and education systems.
The post holder will have overall responsibility for business development, customer relationships, people management and financial performance.
This senior management role will provide strategic direction to the growth and development of the international health business across all regions, enhancing and strengthening relationships with Health clients.
The candidate will be expected to advise on policies relating to: nutrition; HIV & AIDS; maternal, neonatal and child health, monitoring & evaluation.
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively: communicating, building relationships and influencing effectively, with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Proven strength and capability in commercial management and strong business acumen.
- Proven strength and capability in business development and strategic business planning activities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills - demonstrated in complex, changing development environments.
- Ability to manage change in a positive, flexible and constructive manner.
- Able to multitask and maintain a critical overview of interrelated tasks, projects and issues, ensuring delivery according to targets.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills are essential. Ability to work in an additional language(s) would be useful.
This is a full-time permanent role. The salary is negotiable.
