An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within a leading, global management, engineering and development consultancy.

The role is as a Subdivision Manager within the Health & Education International Division which specialises in the health and education sectors, working in low & middle-income countries. In collaboration with international agencies & national governments, to advance and improve health and education systems.

The Subdivision Manager will hold overall responsibility for all aspects of the Global Subdivision including business development, customer relationships, people management and financial performance. With regard to Global education, s/he will be supported by senior education staff in the Division.

This senior management role will provide strategic direction to the growth and development of the international health business across all regions, enhancing and strengthening relationships with Health clients.

The candidate will be expected to advise on policies relating to: nutrition; HIV & AIDS; maternal, neonatal and child health, monitoring & evaluation.

- Proven strength and capability in commercial management and strong business acumen.
- Proven strength and capability in business development and strategic business planning activities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills - demonstrated in complex, changing development environments.
- Ability to manage change in a positive, flexible and constructive manner.
- Able to multitask and maintain a critical overview of interrelated tasks, projects and issues, ensuring delivery according to targets.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills are essential. Ability to work in an additional language(s) would be useful.

This is a full-time permanent role. The salary range is from £50,000 to £70,000 per annum.
