Job Description
Reed Engineering have an urgent requirement for a Permanent Production Team Leader to work for a well respected client that Design, Develop and Manufacture at their facility in Bangor.
Responsible to: Engineering Manager
Responsible for: Quality Inspectors, Junior Staff
Aim of Position: Supervise and provide technical guidance to quality inspectors and junior engineering staff. Provide technical support to production and assist with product development.
Key duties:
*Ensure safe systems of work are developed and followed in the department.
*Ensure Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
*Ensure all work and conduct is in accordance with company handbook
*Ensure company Quality manual procedures are followed.
*Liaise with Engineering Manager, Production Manager and production scheduler to identify and resolve all engineering issues
*Provide technical support to quality inspector, engineering and development, and production.
*Solve Technical issues within the company and sub-contractors, supplier and customers.
*Assist with product design
*Improve existing systems of work
*Conduct engineering based technical investigations and report as required
Key Experience:
*Have an Engineering/Technical Background
*Previous experience as Production Engineer
*Be an excellent communicator
*Possession of a HNC would be advantageous
Salary: £22,000-26,000
