Production Support Operator

Duties to involve:

• Unload and process deliveries, book into stock - complete accurate records
• Liaise with Production Planning dept
• Process job bags and prioritise workload in order of importance
• Cut cores and retrieve components from stock working to job specifications
• Deliver all components to the production presses - materials, dies, cores etc 
• Maintain optimum Health and Safety standards and keep warehouse area neat and clean at all times

Characteristics;

Essential:

• Physically fit and in good health.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Experience of working night shift and overtime when necessary.
• Show initiative.
• Good numerical skills.
• Quick learner.
• Computer literate.
• Experience working in a fast paced (JIT) wokring environment.
• A good general education.
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
• Team player with confident inter-personal skills.
• Good problem solving and decision making skills.
• Flexible approach to duties.
• Ability to follow detailed, specific instructions.

Desirable:

• FLT - Reach (RITIB or similar)
• FLT Counterbalance (RITIB or similar)
• Experience with fully computerised stock control systems.
• Live locally/have own transport.

Additional Information

• 37.5 hours per week.
• Shift Pattern - 22.15pm - 06.15am.
• Shift Allowance - 30%
• Holiday Entitlement - 25 days (+ public holidays)
