Scope
To provide ongoing programmes of On the Job training and toolbox talks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company H&S, Environmental and Quality management systems. The production Quality Trainer will be required to deliver primary elements of the induction programme and to ensure mandatory training is delivered to all new starters.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of practical On the Job training, Toolbox Talks and Small Group Training to underpin and develop the competence of our Associates
- Coordinate and deliver ongoing assessment regime to monitor and evidence competence
- Assist the Training & Development Officer in the development and continuous improvement of training courses, programmes, and processes
- Work in partnership withal LPD Departmental Managers to ensure all Associates are fully trained to meet the requirements of their role, and competencies are refreshed and maintained
- Coordinate with key stakeholders i.e. HR, Health & Safety, Quality, and Business Departments, to ensure compliance with both regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Act as internal coach, champion and role model for Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- General Training administration
- Any other duties as instructed by the Production Manager
Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in delivering both practical and classroom based training
- Operational experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental legislation;
- Proven track record in creating and delivering work-based training and assessment
- Highly computer literate eg Excel/Word and PowerPoint
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry
- Previous experience of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and/or ISO13485
Qualifications
- Train the trainer qualification
- Qualification in work based assessment; QCF, A1/A2
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification i.e IOSH, NEBOSH
