To safely operate and
maintain manufacturing machinery within the work area/ production line to ensure
the line achieves output required within production performance, quality, yield
and CRS targets
Duties;
Operatives will operate a minimum of 2 work areas or machines
within the manufacturing operation
Perform machine start ups, change overs and shut downs as required
Perform basic fault-finding of commonly occurring faults and either fix or escalate through
appropriate processes to insure the minimal impact on the line
Ensure materials are available and ready for use in manufacturing process
Participate in material stock counts as required
Perform basic asset care activities
Maintain good standards of housekeeping to ensure own work area is clean and tidy
Comply with stock checks/held stock procedures as required
Involvement in in safety and environmental risk assessments
Candidates will be working 12 hour shifts days and nights. Full in depth training on site is provided
Ideal for candidate to have reach or counterbalance forklift licence but not essential
Experience in a food or drink warehouse is essential
