Required Competencies:
Skills:
- Manufacturing experience essential
- General technical knowledge (standards of production)
- Technical drawing - Solidworks
- Methods of production with steel plates (bending, cutting, welding) and casting
- Basic knowledge about materials (steel, cast iron)
- Contacts with factories - you will be liaising and visiting factories indepently
- Researching subcontractors & suppliers
- Quality control
- Calculations of production costs and timescales, materials & budgets
- At least 8-10 years experience
- Foreign Travel (Europe and Far East) approx 1/3 of the year
- Good understanding and knowledge of CAD systems
