Production Cook

Our prestigious client is seeking a cook on a part time basis 3 days a week. This can increase once additional contracts are secured. Our client started trading in November 2007 and has been growing ever since. Offering a wide range of delicious one pot meals based on a 100% natural ingredients. The successful candidate will have the potential to deputise the production manager in their absence. Also you will need to have an understanding of food production. Experience of managing a small team is desirable but not essential.

Due to rural location transport is essential.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Cooking the preparation of unique recipes in small production kitchen. Strictly following instructions
• Undertake taste and quality assessment of all products
• Food preparation
• Washing up and cleaning
• Documentation and logging of data to be meticulous in recording the necessary data for our records such as temperature at potting off and yield
• Potting off ensuring all products are correct weight , sealed and right temperature
• To be involved in the development of new recipes and the scaling up of these recipes
