Our client is one the leading distributors of timber and building materials to the end user. Due to their success and growth, they are currently looking to employ another experienced Product Manager to add to their team.
You will be responsible for defining and understanding the market and their competitors, you will then be commissioned to produce product strategies. You will identify new product development (NPD) as well as opportunities in which the company and products can grow and develop. You will possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to report your findings, as you will be required to define market requirements and brand positioning.
This Product Manager role represents a fantastic opportunity for a confident professional looking to develop their career. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work closely with the marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.
You would need to be both commercially aware and have the ability to influence stakeholders, department managers and branch managers in order for them to share your vision and ideas to increase the profitability of existing products and for the development of new products for the company. You will also serve as the internal and external leader for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
