My client, a Global Investment Bank, is looking to hire a number of mathematical and analytical individuals into their growing Product Control team based in Budapest. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a career within Banking. Successful applicants will be diligent, meticulous and show great attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
• Daily production of P&L reports.
• Reconciling P&L with traders bookings and discussing and discrepancies with the traders
• Capturing prices at the end of the day.
• Developing in depth understanding of assigned asset class; Equities, Rates, Credit, Commodities etc.
• Producing predicted P&L for following day.
• Ad hoc process improvements
Key Skills
• 2:1 degree (or equivalent) ideally in a mathematical/science based subject.
• Analytical person- with a keen desire to work in Banking/Financial Services.
• Any previous experience of dealing with financial products/ having worked within Banking is a positive.
• Strong communicator; articulate, confident and thorough.
• IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
