The role is for a Production Engineer within the Elstree Production Department to provide technical support to the production unit. The ideal candidate should have experience of process development, Six Sigma processes as well as dealing with quality issues, CAPA and change control implementation and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and manage production projects to improve process using Six Sigma and Lean techniques
- Lead all CAPA action implementation
- Lead implementation of all change controls
- Investigation of non conformance issues, implement solutions, write up and present to QA for closure
- Lead all process improvement activities within the production department
- Manage the transfer and procurement of production equipment
- Actively participate in the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead training activities for production processes and procedures.
- Liaise with other functions to ensure the processes and procedures needed to maintain systems are established, understood and implemented
Requirements
Required: A degree in Engineering discipline.
Desirable: Chartered Engineer with project management qualification.
- Sound knowledge and experience of GMP.
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence and the use of Six Sigma and Lean techniques
- Proven track record of process improvement
Experience
- Practical experience within development or manufacturing.
- At least five years experience working within a GMP environment
- Experience of implementation of Six Sigma and Lean processes
- Experience of handling non conformances
