Probation Service Officer - Surrey

Criminal Justice Skills are currently seeking a Probation service Officer on a temporary monthly rolling contract based in the Surrey Area.

We are seeking an experienced Probation Officer who can confidently manage their own caseload of Offenders to include high risk cases.

Your duties will include:

• Working with newly sentenced and on remand prisoners
• Completing quality OASys assessments
• Completing initial screenings
• Updating offender records on the electronic system
• Sentence Planning

You will need to possess good IT skills and be able to ensure work is completed accurately within the timescales required. You will be able to multi-agency work to ensure the needs of the offender are supported.

A current CRB is required for this role, along with a relevant qualification - DipPS, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent.
