We are currently looking to recruit a Principal Finance Officer for one of our clients within the Public Sector.
The successful applicant will be a part qualified or qualified accountant (CIPFA, ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience of working within a professional financial services environment and a proven track record of understanding and presenting complex financial information.
Key duties will include:
- monitoring financial performance
- interpreting financial information and advising senior management
- setting and monitoring budgets
- developing and implementing systems, procedures and controls
- day to day management of designated finance officers
- ensuring compliance with policies and best practice
- contributing to key projects
