The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Pricing Manager to develop and implement robust and timely pricing proposals and analysis within arvato’s BPO activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pricing expertise on pricing models of various sizes. This role places high demand on accuracy, influence ability along with a strong understanding on Transaction Pricing Models.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare Contact Centre, Fulfilment, IT, Loyalty pricing (financial models) and drive creative and innovative pricing solutions and strategies with quality qualification using source documentation and interaction with contract team
- Present Pricing Solutions to senior management for sign off.
- Preparation of integrated Business Plans (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statement, Investment Proposals) for new business opportunities
- Analysis and evaluation of competitor pricing strategy
- Development and implementation of transaction pricing strategies
- Develop innovative transaction pricing models. This would involve looking to other markets or industries for clever commercial models - ensuring Best Practice in our pricing models.
- Develop new monitoring and reporting tools to help identify trends and opportunities for pricing changes
- Conducting scenario analysis and consult with management team to prepare for management decisions
- Respond to RFP and RFI requests
- Manage pricing changes
- Analysing, reviewing and updating pricing for existing client contracts
- Provide commercial advice on implications from bid contractual terms and conditions i.e. payment terms, insurance liability, no volume guarantees etc
Requirements
- Proven understanding of pricing methodologies
- Hands on experience/ability of building and presenting pricing models
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced skills in Excel and proficient in Powerpoint
- Ability to summarise and present complex data and concepts to all levels of the organisation
- Ability to understand business drivers and opportunities and relate them to own work
- Experience of building transactional based pricing models desirable
- Strong and proven background in Accounting, Controlling and Finance
- Business Process outsourcing knowledge preferred, but not essential
- Display effective communication skills with colleagues at all levels
