Pricing Manager

Barker Munro are pleased to be working with one of the UK's fastest growing insurance brands who are ever evolving and who are currently looking to add a Motor Pricing Manager to their personal lines team.

Working in one of the UK's best known motor insurance brands, your key focus is on core risk pricing as well as the day-to-day pricing issues that need to be tackled, using the latest, most innovative pricing techniques.

You will take on responsibility for a small team and work with senior management to create a first class team environment, one that is able to interact and communicate with other business functions in order to take the business forward and ahead of its rivals in this fiercely competitive market.

What do you need to succeed? Well, ideally you will be pretty numerate, maybe with a degree or equivalent and potentially a newly qualified Actuary, ideally with exposure of pricing for a UK personal lines insurer. Highly important is a sound background in and awareness of the Private motor underwriting and the motor insurance market as a whole including legal requirements.
