Pricing Manager / Analyst

Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for a Pricing Manager/Analyst.

Our client is an established large Financial Services organisation with an enviable market leading reputation across the UK.  Our client has continued to grow both organically and through acquisition.  Following recent growth, the business is to recruit an experienced commercial Pricing Manager / Analyst. 

The role of Pricing Manager /Analyst plays a pivotal role in the development and managing the test and learn calendar across all business channels ensuring that an understanding or price elasticity is continuously maintained and that relevant demand models are updated.  Closing managing and linking to retention models using internal and external renewal data will play a key part of building the overall picture.  Outputs will influence pricing strategies and recommendations for pricing changes.   Analysis, price modelling and reporting will form a core requirement of the role as will regular liaison with third party providers.  A highly visible role working across most internal functions you will have daily contact with each department and be responsible for extracting data from all channels as part of the process.  Working as part of a small team, the role of Pricing Manager / Analyst will suit an individual who enjoys producing commercial trading information in a busy fast paced environment and is able to almost hit the ground running.  

The ideal candidate for this role will have advanced excel skills and is used to working with financial presentation packages.  The ability to think strategically and combine with working in the detail to deliver project goals will be key.  This is a self starter role and will suit someone from a commercial pricing background.  It is not essential to come from an insurance background, you may have an economics or statistical background.  The ability to bring innovation to problem solving in a highly competitive fast paced industry will suit the successful candidate.  You will have excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and communication skills and be a self starter who is motivated to grow with this role which offers genuine career progression.
